I believe that we are all on a journey to return to our source or spiritual home. Some call that source God, some call it becoming one with the Buddha, and other religions and philosophies have other names as well. I believe that all paths lead us to the same place and I respect everyone’s chosen path to the divine or what they believe to be sacred. As a minister and celebrant I strive to help people figure out what beliefs they share and how to center their ceremony around those shared beliefs. I believe that ceremony is an important part of our evolution as human beings, and that every ceremony should reflect and represent the values and beliefs of the person or people going through whatever transition the ceremony celebrates.
Services provided:
I help you create ceremonies that are meaningful, mindful and magical. I listen to you so that your ceremony reflects your values and beliefs. You have total control of the words said at your ceremony. I provide you with suggestions for readings, music and vows. In cases where children from previous marriages are involved, I can include them in a "New Family Ritual" as part of the wedding ceremony. I also provide a PA system so that everyone can hear your ceremony. I am an ordained minister and a graduate of the Celebrant USA Foundation. I am comfortable with religious, interfaith, spiritual or civil ceremonies. I create one-of-a-kind ceremonies that reflect the love you feel for one another. Free consultation

Call me and I will help you figure out what you want; and if it is not me, I can refer you to other celebrants who may be better able to satisfy your desires.
Brief excerpts from testimonials:
Dear Virginia,
I would like to thank you for performing our wedding ceremony on October 8, 2006. Elena and I loved the ceremony you created for us. The words were so meaningful and personal to us. It described our relationship perfectly. We received many compliments on the ceremony from our guests as well. All agreed that it fit us perfectly and that our celebrant was wonderful.
It was such a pleasure working with you and we would certainly recommend your services to others in need of a celebrant. You were able to capture our thoughts and feelings in words that expressed our love. You have a very creative mind. Thank you again for delivering the best wedding ceremony anyone could ask for.
Sincerely,
Christopher Shelton
