Jersey: 10 year old Shepherd/Husky mix adopted from the Dumb Friend's League, beloved companion to the McCarty family.  "She was a second mother to the girls, always there to cry on and to talk to. During her last months it was the girls' turn to take care of her, massaging her arthritic back and legs and helping her down the steps into the yard; they never once complained. I rubbed her neck while she took her last breath and knew my family had lost one of our best friends."

Samurai or "Sam":  1986-1996.  Beloved companion to the Cronk/Greenhut family.  Black and white domestic shorthair.  1986-1996  Sweet, gentle (except to mice), timid, cuddly.  Had "issues".  Left the world in a tragic, untimely accident.  Now, an angel.

Ninja: 1986-2004. Brown and black domestic shorthair feline, brother and littermate to Samurai.  Preferred the garage door open, so he opened it often by running underneath it while it closed.  Used to sleep on the hood of Dad's car everyday, and ruled the dog.  Loved attention.  Smart, playful, loving, loyal.  The last few years were tough as his spirit was young and his body, old.

Kamikaze:  Beautiful long-haired grey and white cat.  Adopted as an orphan, then we left him with the housemates.  We hope he had a happy life after we said good-bye.

Sabrina and Trina:  Litter-mate female Siamese cats.  Good mothers to all their babies.  Gentle, talkative and special to all who knew them.

Ashley:  Long hair tortoise-shell cat, beloved companion to the Campbell family.

Cal and Baeron:  Beloved companions to the Campbell Family.  Both were beautiful, gentle, goldern retrievers.  Baeron was the alpha dog in the neighborhood and came over to take neighbor Shane's bones when he needed some.  Shane let him, happily.  Cal was the younger, more energetic playmate to Baeron.

Lover:  Beautiful long haired cat.  Fought hard against diabetes.  Beloved companion to the Emmons family.

Riley:  Smart, funny, all around-wonderful dog.  Beloved companion to the Emmons family.

Missy:  Beloved long-haired cat of the Berlin family.  Missy loved the boys, and the boys loved her.  (Tom was not so crazy about her fleas, though, but Eve was persistent about keeping her!)

Taffy:  Beloved companion to the Schumer Family.   A whole lot of personality in a little tiny Lhasa Apso dog body! Taffy was one sweet, well-behaved dog, and lived a long life, padding around the cul-de-sac.

Bailey:  Wonderful shepherd mix dog.  Beloved companion to the Parkes/Schwabe family.  He was much loved and will be missed greatly!

Juniper:  Beloved companion to Larry and Linda Heesch.  Passed in a tragic accident. His memory will be cherished for a long time.

Noppy:  Beloved cat companion to the Klein family.  Orphaned by his Mom, his adopted family adored him til the end.

"Annie lived nearly 15 happy years in Aurora, Colorado. She came to me as a stray puppy at 8 weeks of age, and became one of the most beloved gifts I have ever received. Her most endearing trait was that she was always smiling.  Her passing left a space in our home that will be difficult to fill. We miss you sweetie."   Lynn & Clif  10/07
